Satpura Tiger Reserve

EXPERIENCE THE NATURAL BEAUTY OF Satpura Tiger Reserve

Satpura Tiger Reserve
Nestled in the Satpura range of Madhya Pradesh, this tiger reserve offers a unique mix of rugged terrains, sandstone peaks, and serene water bodies like the Denwa River.

Satpura’s name is derived from the Sanskrit word “Satpura,” meaning seven mountains. Established as a tiger reserve in 1999, it stands apart for its emphasis on eco-tourism and walking safaris.

Satpura’s biodiversity includes tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and a rich variety of herbivores like Indian giant squirrels and gaur.

Its dense forests of sal, teak, and bamboo are complemented by wetland habitats, making it a hotspot for bird species like Malabar pied hornbills and crested serpent eagles.

Program (3Days)

Offering an immersive wildlife experience with jeep safaris and bird-watching, the camp provides opportunities to see tigers, leopards, elephants, and a variety of bird species. Its location within the forest ensures a close affinity with the wildlife.
