Kanha Tiger Reserve

EXPERIENCE THE NATURAL BEAUTY OF Kanha Tiger Reserve

Kanha Tiger Reserve
Kanha, also located in Madhya Pradesh, is celebrated for its role in inspiring Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book.

Its history as a protected area began in 1879 when parts of the region were declared a reserve forest. Later, in 1933, Kanha became a wildlife sanctuary and was designated as a national park in 1955.

Kanha was one of the first tiger reserves under Project Tiger in 1973. Spanning over 2074 square kilometers, its landscapes are a harmonious blend of sal forests, grassy meadows, and rivers.

Kanha is famed for successfully reviving the population of the swamp deer, or barasingha, which now thrives in its meadows.

Apart from tigers, Kanha is home to Indian wild dogs, leopards, gaurs, and nearly 300 bird species.

Program (3Days)

Offering an immersive wildlife experience with jeep safaris and bird-watching, the camp provides opportunities to see tigers, leopards, elephants, and a variety of bird species. Its location within the forest ensures a close affinity with the wildlife.
